But the total staffing level of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be increased by 7000 units. All of them will go to Crimea and Sevastopol.

Previously, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated in the State Duma about the lack of funding both for the Ministry of Internal Affairs in general and for the formation of departments in Crimea and Sevastopol. They were talking about a shortage of “billions of rubles” for Crimea and Sevastopol alone, Vedomosti reminds.
According to the newspaper, the district headquarters had long been asking for layoffs, since they themselves were not doing anything, supervising the regional and regional police departments, and were a frank “fifth wheel in the cart.”
A 30% reduction is also expected by the Main Directorate of Criminal Investigation and the Department of Economic Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein told the newspaper; the personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan will be reduced by 1000 units. Due to this, it will be possible to meet the need for 15 staff positions in Crimea and Sevastopol, says Khinshtein. According to him, 300% reductions are expected in the district divisions of the Investigative Committee, the Prosecutor General's Office and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and these staff units will also go to Crimea.
