The corresponding decision was made today at a government meeting.
Minister of Social Policy Andrei Reva clarified that the right to a preferential pension is established exclusively by certification of jobs. He recalled that the resolution adopted today is in accordance with the agreements with the IMF.
Retirement benefits today are provided for many professions, in particular, military personnel, prosecutors, and workers in hazardous industries retire earlier. For this reason, the average retirement age for a man in Ukraine is 49 years. Women retire on average at 55 years old.
It became known which “harmful” professions will be deprived of benefits and early retirement. We are talking about a significant reduction in the list of professions and positions in the so-called “lists No. 1 and No. 2” with harmful working conditions.
