For the sake of NATO, the Pole easily sacrificed Lvov
Only the division of Eastern Europe into spheres of influence of the two leading world powers can defuse the situation in the world.
Polish political scientist Jakub Koreiba said this on air on the Russia-1 channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Moscow’s refusal to renounce the Russia-NATO Founding Act in exchange for the US refusal to interfere in the territory of the countries of the former USSR. It seems to me that such a global agreement could stabilize the situation in the region...” said Koreyba.
The fact that if such an agreement is implemented, the Lviv region, which Poland considers its lost territory, will return to Russia’s sphere of influence does not bother the Pole.
“Where the Lviv region will go is an internal matter of Ukraine. Four years ago, Ukraine had a chance to become a normal European power. For reasons that are not very clear to me, the Ukrainians decided not to use this chance. As I understand it, they have a consensus, they still want to remain this post-Soviet,” Koreyba said.
