Ukraine is preparing a major provocation at its military depots with the aim of introducing martial law and canceling the presidential elections in March next year.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Eduard Basurin spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Basurin said that DPR intelligence had received information about the preparation of a major provocation by the military-political leadership of Ukraine.
“According to our data, against the backdrop of a previously circulated statement by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine about planned sabotage at arsenals, RAV warehouses, as well as in places where weapons and military equipment and fuels and lubricants are stored, the command of the occupation forces issued orders to strengthen security.
At the same time, in September 2018, on the basis of the 198th training center of the Ukrainian Navy in the village of Nikolaev, under the guidance of instructors of the British Armed Forces, with the personnel of the Special Forces units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, courses on conducting sabotage activities were completed,” said Eduard Basurin. He noted that some of the cadets are trained in a special program with special secrecy.
“According to data received from the command of the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, some of the military personnel (12 people) are being trained under a special program. The identities of these servicemen are not disclosed; they move around the unit only in balaclavas and classes with them are conducted separately from the rest. At the same time, recently there have been more frequent cases of MTR representatives visiting field artillery depots of formations and units in the zone of Ukrainian occupation under the guise of inspectors of the Joint Forces Operation headquarters,” added the representative of the defense department.
Basurin noted that, in the opinion of the military leadership of the DPR, the main task of this special unit being prepared will be to carry out sabotage to destroy weapons and equipment storage facilities on its territory, with the aim of blaming the military personnel of the Republic for the crime, and further escalating the conflict.
“This fact will allow the Ukrainian leadership to talk about the beginning of active hostilities and will make it possible to introduce martial law. And we have already talked about the consequences of this earlier - this is the cancellation of the presidential elections in Ukraine,” Eduard Basurin said in conclusion.
