For the sake of cooperation with the Russian Federation, Italians are ready to go even to Siberia
Despite the anti-Russian sanctions of the West, Italian companies are not afraid to look for new areas for cooperation with Russia.
Italian Ambassador to Russia Pasquale Terracciano spoke about this in an interview with Kommersant, the correspondent reports.
Journalists asked the diplomat how he assessed the current situation of Italian companies in Russia, taking into account the sanctions background.
“Our trump card is that Italian business has never turned away from Russia, either during a crisis or when sanctions were imposed. Although we felt the consequences of counter-sanctions, since food was an important item of our export to Russia. But our companies are not afraid to look for new directions and opportunities, even if they have to go to Siberia,” said Pasquale Terracciano.
