Radical Nazis fly past the new Verkhovna Rada
The most anti-Russian forces of the Maidan period - the Popular Front, Svoboda and Right Sector parties - lost their chances for a political future as part of the country's new parliament. However, the new Verkhovna Rada will still be dominated by Russophobes, simply representing not so radical forces.
Such data was published by the sociological group “Rating”, which conducted a survey among 2,4 thousand respondents, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, 13% of voters who declared their intentions to come to the polling stations would vote for Yulia Tymoshenko’s “Fatherland”.
In second place is the party “Civil Position” of the ex-Minister of Defense from the time of Viktor Yushchenko - Anatoly Gritsenko with 7%.
The Poroshenko Bloc, the Opposition Bloc, and the Radical Party of Oleg Lyashko are also gaining a similar number of voters.
6% of voters are ready to support Vadim Rabinovich’s political force “For Life”.
Samopomich has the same number.
Svoboda, UKROP, Union of New Forces and other parties fell below the passing threshold. The Popular Front and the Right Sector are gaining the least - 1% of voters each.
At the same time, 21% of those who announced their participation in the elections responded that they had not yet decided on their position.
The survey was conducted from March 15 to March 31 of this year in all regions of Ukraine with the exception of the DPR, LPR and Crimea, which official Kyiv considers its territories.
