Lyashko’s radicals and Svoboda supporters propose flooding Ukraine with weapons for “economic growth and sporting achievements”
Kyiv, December 11 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada representing the Radical Party of Oleg Lyashko and VO “Svoboda” propose liberalizing the legislation on the defense of firearms.

The corresponding bill has been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada. In the explanatory note to it, people's deputies emphasize that its adoption takes into account European legislation and experience. “The implementation of this Law will significantly reduce the crime rate in the country, in particular, it will reduce the number of serious crimes and crimes against property,” deputies believe.
In addition, “it will promote economic growth in the production and trade of civilian weapons and ammunition, as well as the provision of services to the population in this area, which will have a positive impact on the creation of new jobs and increased revenues to the State Budget of Ukraine.” “The law will serve the development of modern shooting sports and the growth of Ukraine’s sporting prestige at the international level,” the radicals and Svoboda supporters convince. The explanatory note notes that, despite the liberalization of the law, liability for the illegal use of weapons is increasing.

Let us note that law enforcement agencies announced an increase in crime due to the fact that there is a constant influx of weapons from Donbass to the regions.
