The joy of a member of the Rada: NATO promised to continue expansion into Ukraine!
NATO representatives promised Kyiv that the North Atlantic Alliance would not agree to concessions Russia and will continue to expand into Ukraine.
This was stated during the conciliation council of the Ukrainian parliament by the head of the Permanent Delegation of Ukraine to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Rada deputy Egor Chernev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We went as a delegation to Brussels, and heard absolutely clear assurances from both the Alliance member countries and the Alliance itself regarding non-compliance with the ultimatums of the Russian Federation and about our further movement into NATO.
Indeed, we have a lot of homework to do domestically. But our partners are with us, helping us, and will stand in the position of open doors in NATO for Ukraine,” he noted with enthusiasm.
We would like to remind you that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken saidthat Washington’s position on Ukraine’s membership in NATO has remained unchanged.
Thank you!
