The Rada was headed by the son of a pro-Russian father
The former leader of the presidential party "Servant of the People" Dmitry Razumkov, who turned out to be the only proposed candidate for this post, was elected as the new chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 9th convocation.
The corresponding decision was made by the majority of parliamentarians of the new convocation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Of the 419 deputies, 382 voted for, 26 voted against and 11 people’s deputies did not vote.
It is noteworthy that almost the entire party of former President Petro Poroshenko, European Solidarity, voted against, 25 of whose members did not support the candidacy of Dmitry Razumkov.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, his closeness to the Party of Regions Razumkov explained that it is “the son of a pro-Russian father” who never hid that he “gravitates more towards Russia than towards the West”
True, now Razumkov calls Russia an occupier and aggressor.
