Above-zero temperatures in St. Petersburg do not please people who are forced to walk through puddles and wet snow, dodging blocks of ice falling from roofs. But some “citizens” are quite happy with the condition of the streets - for example, these ducks, which were spotted near the Chernaya Rechka metro station in a seasonal “pond” near the pedestrian crossing, as well as a goose from the Pushkinsky district.

The birds do not pay attention to disgruntled passers-by who choose relatively dry “islands”; they look calm and happy - they clearly have something to thank Smolny for.

Goose from the Pushkinsky district was a little less lucky - the Improvement Committee on February 7 “appointed” him as an “inspector” of cleaning quality, posting bird video, important walking along the path.

St. Petersburg residents did not appreciate the attempt to joke about the problem of snow removal and thaw. Even those who were happy for the goose reported the difficulties of life in their neighborhoods and asked for more effort to be put into cleaning up.

“Why didn’t they film this goose swimming across puddles at pedestrian crossings? Didn't find any puddles? So I can immediately name you a dozen such places in the Kalininsky district,” another city resident suggested in the comments to the video of Komblag with a bird.

It is possible that we will soon see on the official page of Komblag a positive review from ducks about the quality of cleaning in the Primorsky region. But city dwellers who don’t know how to swim in melting puddles still want cleanliness.

Previously, Smolny had already “increased” the quality of life for man’s oldest companions in cities – gray rats. Due to the disastrous start of the “garbage reform,” rodents got the opportunity to eat well waste, and began to often appear in and around garbage dumps, “posing” for St. Petersburg residents. Despite the promise of Governor Alexander Beglov to take into account all the criticism and force the NEO regovorator to work for real, ridding the city of garbage as needed, residents are still afraid that with the onset of spring the garbage dumps will not disappear, which means the rats will breed even more and carry dangerous diseases to people.
