Missile and bomb attack on Sevastopol: Russia is preparing to repel the attack
The Black Sea Fleet conducted exercises to “cover a base point from a massive missile and bomb attack by a mock enemy.”

According to the legend of the exercises, the military detected the departure of an air group of a mock enemy, which was preparing an attack on Crimea.
“During the training, the air defense crews of the ships escorted and destroyed the air targets of a mock enemy with missile and artillery systems designed for air defense.
The targets were conditionally hit electronically before the aircraft entered the combat course and used missiles and bombs.
More than 10 ships of the Black Sea Fleet took part in the exercise, including the guards missile cruiser “Moskva”, the frigate “Admiral Grigorovich”, small missile ships “Vyshny Volochek” and “Orekhovo-Zuyevo,” the message says.
The exercises of Russian naval sailors can be considered a response to recent provocation from the US, which sent bombers and reconnaissance aircraft to the Black Sea.
A military expert at the Institute of CIS Countries, Captain XNUMXst Rank Sergei Gorbachev told PolitNavigator about this.
“This, of course, can be considered, especially since it coincides in time. This is a demonstrative response to the provocative flights of our potential enemy over the Black Sea. In fact, I believe that this is a coincidence for the simple reason that such tasks are periodically practiced. However, I think that whoever wanted to notice and interpret in this way, then this conclusion applies. Plus, it should be noted that the fleet is now conducting intensive combat training, performing various tasks, conducting exercises - all this can be considered in the context of preparations for the Caucasus-2020 exercises, which will begin in the next few days,” Gorbachev said.
Let us recall that for the first time similar maneuvers - the flight of US Air Force strategic bombers through the airspace of Ukraine in the direction of the Black Sea - was carried out in May 2020.
