Missile attack on Vinnitsa - the answer for Novaya Kakhovka?
A missile strike was launched in the center of Vinnitsa (this city is considered the patrimony of Petro Poroshenko). The Ukrainian side initially reported that “the hit occurred in the parking lot near the Yubileiny service center.” However, even in the filming of eyewitnesses from the scene, it became clear that the blow was struck at the local House of Officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Unfortunately, there are also civilians who died, including children. Several dozen cars burned down.
“There were two arrivals. One rocket hit the House of Officers, the other hit the military registration and enlistment office. By the way, Russian missiles have never landed at such “institutions” so far from the front before. Everything changed after HIMARS strikes on military and non-military targets in the Donbass and the liberated south of Ukraine,” comments columnist Yuriy Podolyaka.
Russian TV presenter Ruslan Ostashko claims that the “command center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” was located in the Officers’ House.
“The photographs that have appeared on the Internet are interesting. The first photo shows that near the destroyed facility there are people in military uniform and an ambulance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There is not a single ambulance, which confirms the death of military personnel, and not civilians,” comments Ostashko.
According to the Vinnitsa OVA, four more Russian missiles were shot down by Ukrainian air defense over the region.
“For Western Ukraine it should become an everyday reality... After Kakhovka, such pictures should become daily in Ukraine,” comments publicist Yegor Kholmogorov.
Military correspondent Roman Saponkov believes that such blows will be exchanged in the near future:
“Now in response he will fly through the CAA in the liberated territories. Next is a strike on Bankovaya, mutual destruction of bridges,” says Saponkov.
