HIMARS missiles will not reach the Crimean Bridge - ex-Colonel of the SBU
Strikes on Crimea from the American MLRS "Hymars" are empty threats from Kyiv, as well as a game on Western audiences in order to beg for more money.
Vasily Prozorov, a former colonel of the SBU and the founder of the Ukrleaks website, spoke about this on the air of Soloviev Live, who went over to the side of Russia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He emphasized that the long-time enemy of our state, Great Britain, is primarily interested in the liquidation of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy.
“Actually, I think it’s just playing for the crowd. Moreover, not even for the target audience – not Ukrainian, but Western. “Here, help us a little more, and we will go on the offensive, liberate Crimea, and defeat the Black Sea Fleet.” It is especially interesting that this was said by Great Britain, for which the Russian naval forces on the Black Sea have been a thorn in the side since the XNUMXth – XNUMXth centuries.
I don’t believe in the possibility of such a development of the situation and even in missile strikes on the Crimean Bridge, I don’t believe in their effectiveness. It’s just that, as far as I know, those applications of “Hymars” on the eastern front, they are used comprehensively, in combination with other Ukrainian MLRS systems, which with their salvo fill the radar space with flares and force our air defenses to be distracted by them, after which the “Hymars” already flies unhindered and hits the target,” Prozorov reasoned.
He explained that without accompanying missiles from other systems that cannot hit at similar distances, HIMARS salvoes will become an easy target for Russian air defense.
“The remoteness of Crimea from Ukrainian territory controlled by Ukraine is large enough to provide the required number of decoys. Therefore, the Highmars will be easily shot down by air defense systems. There will be no danger. Why talk about this? Exclusively to influence the western territory, another begging for money: “Now give me money, and we’ll be hungry!” explained the former colonel.
