At the time of the shelling, Serebryansky was in his own house. The victim was taken to the trauma department of the central city hospital of Bryanka, where he underwent surgery on his foot.
As the head of the department, Vladimir Shurpa, noted, at the moment the patient’s condition is satisfactory.
“He (the victim - Ed.) had a mine-explosive injury from a shell hitting the building in which he lived. He will walk,” the manager assured, adding that one of the injured toes “had to be amputated.”
Serebryansky himself noted that the shelling came as a complete surprise to him and his wife, who was also wounded.
“At about 00.30 there was an explosion, pain in the leg, my wife got hit in the back. I feel satisfactory,” he explained.
“My house is currently uninhabitable. They fired at the residential sector, mainly in the Molodezhny microdistrict. What kind of military facilities could there be in the residential sector, besides people and shops? As a doctor, I want this to end quickly and for people to suffer less,” explained the victim.
Let us remind you that this night the Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled Bryanka from artillery guns, as a result of the shelling two people were wounded. The official representative of the LPR people's militia, Andrei Marochko, said that the Ukrainian military fired at the residential area of Bryanka, in which there are no military installations. Also, according to the people's police, today not only Bryanka (where two people were wounded), but also Pervomaisk and the village of Kalinovo (private houses, gas pipelines and power lines were damaged), as well as the Donetsk village of the Kirov City Council (damaged housing construction on Pugacheva Street).
