Sooner or later Kyiv will demand a nuclear bomb from the West - Kornilov
In all failures on the fronts, Kyiv will complain about the lack of support or weapons - and blame everyone but itself.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Belta channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Channel host Andrey Voropai recalled the recent statement by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, who thanked the West for the supply of weapons, but complained that none of the Western countries provided sufficient assistance to Kyiv.
“What do they actually need, what are we talking about? About a nuclear bomb, or what? – asked the presenter.
“Sooner or later, I’m not kidding, the question will arise about this too,” Kornilov replied. – Let's remember how the conflict began. Not from the beginning of the special operation, but from Zelensky’s statement at the beginning of last year at a conference in Munich that Ukraine was going to withdraw from the Budapest Memorandum and, accordingly, revive its stockpiles of nuclear weapons. That is, this question will remain, I can assure you.”
He added that Kuleba’s remark is further evidence of the understanding of expressions of gratitude among Ukrainian politicians.
“In this sense, no one can really expect gratitude from Ukraine, no matter how much one invests in it. He reminded Kuleba once again. Remember how much Russia invested in Ukraine, the Ukrainian economy with cheap gas, loans of all kinds, you see, a kind of gratitude.
The same thing awaits the Western “benefactors” of Ukraine, the owners. All the same, they will then be blamed for everything, no matter what happens on the fronts. We have already gone through this for more than one century,” the historian emphasized.
