They rejoiced early: Poroshenko will do anything. Things won't get any better in Ukraine
Petro Poroshenko will not win the elections, because the entire southeast of Ukraine and Yulia Tymoshenko's electorate will vote against the current president.
Political analyst Dmitry Korneychuk stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Poroshenko will not win the second round. Even theoretically he won’t win. For the reason that, firstly, the entire southeast will vote against him in the second round.
Most of those people who voted for Boyko, Vilkul, they will go and vote for Zelensky. Of course, they don’t really like him, they consider him a clown, but the main thing for them is that it’s not Poroshenko...
In turn, Tymoshenko’s nuclear electorate will under no circumstances vote for Poroshenko,” Korneychuk said.
His optimism was not shared by political scientist and candidate of historical sciences Valentin Gaidai, who was present at the press conference.
“The key technology worked - Poroshenko and Zelensky entered the second round. Not Tymoshenko and Poroshenko, not Poroshenko and Gritsenko, not Poroshenko and Boyko, conditionally, but Zelensky, who, you know, is considered such a semi-fake candidate in the minds of many Ukrainians.
Poroshenko will throw all his trump cards into the game and try to win - at least by a percentage, one and a half percent, but he will do it, otherwise this whole game wouldn’t have started, and there wouldn’t have been this “grid”, there wouldn’t have been these trips by region, administrative resources, colossal brainwashing through the media, through fake ratings, which I have spoken about more than once.
Therefore, I believe that Poroshenko has a fairly real chance of winning in the second round.
But, no matter which of them wins, for Ukraine these will be years of further degradation and transformation into an agricultural country with a population of 10-15 million people,” Gaidai shared his forecast.
