Dismembered Pushkin: Exhibition in the patrimony of the mayor who promised to hang Russians
These empires are built and exist for centuries, but at a dog wedding everything is quick and simple. Somewhere in the middle of a market or a stop, or even on a highway during rush hour - Naida, and behind her Sharik, Polkan, the bug-eyed pinscher Hercules who ran away from his owner (oh, no - Sharik has already stepped on him). Olympus and Kashtan are also here, who seem to be doing well without Naida...
And everyone in this arena is a star, what?! Life stops; Mistress Zhuzhi screaming “Who’s going to drown the puppies?!” goes into hand-to-hand combat with the owner Polkan, Polkan bites. From the crowd comes “Because you have to castrate!” It is according to this principle of a dog’s wedding that the vertical of power was built in Ukraine - from Kyiv and further in different places.
It would seem that only six years have passed since the crash of the liner "Ukraine", and the looters surviving from the sale of its remains, all these sirks and mongrels, have already managed to take root, become deputies and other deputies several times, establish cultural ties (just now there with puppies, it’s still not clear).
Thus, the mayor of Dnieper Boris Filatov (he is running for this post again), the same one who “gives any promises to scum, and then hangs them” and so on “burn carrion with a hot iron, imprison and deprive of property,” welcomes the candidate for deputy of Odessa regional council, the infamous artist Alexander Roitburd.
The same one that “May 2, 2014 is the day that saved the country.” The same one who stated that “the burnt-out House of Trade Unions is the embryo of an underdeveloped ONR in Odessa. It must be razed to the ground. Until this God-damned square is turned into a shopping center, the construction of other centers in Odessa must be prohibited. And there’s a water park, a hydropark, an amusement park, a skate park, an arboretum, a zoo, even a Jurassic park, and like on the site of the Bastille there’s a sign “they dance here.”
Actually, this is all that is needed in Ukraine in order to make a successful career. A short synopsis, so to speak.
“An exhibition of the famous artist Alexander Roitburd “Chronicles of the Plague Year” has opened at the Dnepropetrovsk Art Museum,” the chroniclers of the dog’s wedding claim from the headlines. “This is one of the most exciting events in the cultural life of Dnieper!” It’s clear that Dnieper is not Dnepropetrovsk!
The director of the mentioned museum, Tatyana Shaparenko, is delighted: “We have been waiting for a long time for the opening of this exhibition, which was previously exhibited with great success in Lviv and Lutsk.”
Geography speaks for itself, because in Odessa itself the described excitement was clearly not observed.
And the annotation for the exhibition says that the works presented “were created in quarantine - these are images that the master saw while sitting in self-isolation.”
Well, you can take a look at these images for yourself. Only, when you get to the “dismemberment” with Pushkin, keep in mind that the work is called “Boldino Autumn”.
Well, are you inspired? So “the master’s leitmotif became the classic thesis “Beauty will save the world!” It is in this beauty that the artist seeks a way out, salvation,” says the same annotation.
Actually, why am I writing about all this? Yes, so that the reader who is far from Ukraine understands what a unique mess is going on here. And not in some semi-legal tavern where patients from closed psychiatric hospitals gather, but among the ruling elite at a dog wedding.
At this fair of aggression and moral ugliness. People with anti-Maidan, let’s say, views are busy with survival - they don’t really distinguish tuziks from balls, labeling them as fascists and occupiers, from whom it’s still not necessary to demand good, kind, eternal things.
However, an outsider may have a logical question: okay, have these mayors, leaders, current and future deputies done at least something useful, even built a barn for their own people, for fellow fascists? The answer is no.
The same Filatov, who wanted to hang, burn and take away property, now complains that as soon as he installs new garbage bins on the streets, these barbarians, these short-sighted townspeople steal them to use for pickling cucumbers. He doesn’t understand that people are poor and that makes them wild.
And why? Yes, look back at 2013-14, Filatov, and remember - maybe the wrong ones were burned and deprived of their property?
And Roitburd endlessly goes through the courts, proving that he has the right to hold the position of director of the Odessa Art Museum (while deputies of the local regional council do not think so) and insists that he does not paint his paintings with feces.
Now I'm running for deputies. So they worry about the fate of their alternative free state, like bees. Because in essence it is - “pee-pee” and “woof-woof”.
When will all the PACEs understand that they are throwing a dog wedding at their assemblies?
