Most observers believe that the picket is Rashkin’s hysterical reaction to the incriminating evidence published yesterday in the media. In a video filmed in a cafe, he and former governor of the Irkutsk region Sergei Levchenko discuss plans to change the leadership in the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. The conspirators want to ask criminal blogger Alexei Navalny (posted in 2017) to find dirt on Yuri Afonin, whom Gennady Zyuganov sees as his successor as party leader.
