Ukraine's military spending increased from 70 to 95 million UAH per day
Kyiv, December 16 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Ukraine spends 95 million hryvnia daily on the needs of the army. Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk stated this during his visit to Brussels.
“Our expenses for the army are huge - about 95 million UAH. for a day. This is a very heavy burden for the State budget,” he admitted.

In July, President Petro Poroshenko stated that spending on the army amounted to about 70 million UAH per day. “Ukraine spends 70 million hryvnia daily to support the ATO. And our ATO forces began a successful offensive in all directions,” Poroshenko said.
The increase in costs may be caused by the collapse of the hryvnia exchange rate against the dollar.
