The split in the Opposition Bloc has brought down its ratings
The Opposition Bloc, controlled by oligarch Rinat Akhmetov, has dropped out of the list of parties that are gaining more than 5% of the votes and are vying for entry into the Verkhovna Rada.
This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Today, Yulia Tymoshenko’s “Batkivshchyna” has the highest rating – 23,4%, followed by Vladimir Zelensky’s “Servant of the People” with 13%.
In third place is the Rabinovich-Medvedchuk project “Opposition Platform - For Life”, where, after the split, the “gas workers” oriented towards the oligarch Dmitry Firtash, led by Yuriy Boyko, left the Opposition Bloc.
Another 11,2% are ready to vote for the Petro Poroshenko Bloc party, 9,1% for the Civic Position party of ex-Minister of Defense Anatoly Gritsenko, and 8% for the Radical Party of Oleg Lyashko.
Less than five percent are gained by the “Bloc of Svyatoslav Vakarchuk” (4,1%), the “Nashi” party of Evgeniy Muraev (4,1%), the “Self-Help” Association (3,6%), VO “Svoboda” (2,2%) and “Opposition bloc” (2%).
“We see that the main ratings are quite stable, but there was a decrease in the rating of the Opposition Bloc due to Yuri Boyko’s move to the Opposition Platform - For Life,” Anton Grushetsky, Deputy Director of the International Institute of Sociology, commented on the survey results.
