“We cannot lose a single region of Ukraine. Crimea will become part of a sovereign Ukraine, and in the near future we will see the collapse of the Russian Empire,” he said.
According to Sirotyuk, sabotage of Kyiv’s instructions by local police officers has now become obvious in the South-East.
“Law enforcement officers are pushing these processes, because a company of normal police officers could quickly stop all these pro-Russian sentiments,” says the Tyahnybokovite.
However, he is confident that Russia’s plan to establish control over the southeast of Ukraine is doomed to failure.
“Putin that Crimea is only the first stage of this plan, and Putin’s goal is either to take all of Ukraine without Galicia with Kiev, or to tear off the East from Ukraine and create a line from Kharkov to Transnistria. This is very serious, Russian special services and a fifth column are involved. But this does not find support among the local population. If in Crimea the majority of the population supported pro-Russian ideas, then in the South-East the majority of the population is for the unity of Ukraine,” Sirotyuk is sure.
