A pensioner promoted by Poroshenko complains that she is begging like a stray dog
Pensioner Raisa Kuzmenko from President Petro Poroshenko’s propaganda video, which talked about increasing pensions, herself sits on the minimum wage and counts pennies.
This is stated in the TSN story on the “1+1” channel, owned by Dnepropetrovsk oligarch Igor Kolomoisky.
A resident of Chernigov receives 1,9 thousand hryvnia and pays 1,5 of them for utility bills. The rest is trying to stretch out for a month.
“I took a can of milk and boiled it - it’s enough for me for a week. I want to take an apple, an orange, and a tangerine... I went to the store - 12 hryvnia for a loaf of bread, I can’t buy meat, there’s no left. I can only get some chicken wings, and they cost 47 hryvnia. I'm looking for discounts. I found something, it's mine. Like a dog walking down the street, collecting. I found a bone and ate it, and so did we,” says Kuzmenko.
The woman complains - if she had known that the video in which she was offered to star was propaganda, she would have refused: “They said that it was for advertising - we will carry out advertising and we will bring you to advertising. Maybe they would at least pay a penny. I didn’t feel anything good.”
The video prepared by Poroshenko’s PR people talked about how good life has become in Ukraine, pensions have increased, roads, kindergartens and schools are being built. In it, Kuzmenko stated: “I worked for 43 years. Finally received an increased pension. I believe it will be better."
This video has already been at the center of a scandal. Previously, singer Anastasia Prikhodko, who also participated in the recording of the video, stated that she was deceived during filming. She allegedly did not know that the video would be propaganda and support the president.
