Alexander Borovik comments on this process: “We need to free our market in the country - this is the land market, the enterprise market. We have 3500 state-owned enterprises. Whatever can be done privately must be done privately. And the faster the state can run out of the economic sector, the better. We need to look at privatization not to improve one enterprise, but to improve the entire economy. It is necessary to leave 10-15 strategic enterprises - something can be done with them, but all the rest must be privatized as quickly as possible,” the official explained.
Yesterday, Lithuanian Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius said that he plans to involve the French in state privatization in Ukraine experts.
