The sale of Ukrainian land was postponed for a year
The Verkhovna Rada supported the extension of the moratorium on the sale of agricultural land for another year.

5123 deputies voted for the corresponding bill No. 1-297, 6 people’s deputies were against extending the moratorium.
The ban on land sales has now been extended until January 1, 2018.
Let us remind you that the law on a moratorium on the sale of land is valid until the end of 2016. Lyashko and Tymoshenko accused the authorities of preparing the sale of land, and Poroshenko, in turn, saw in Tymoshenko’s prizes preparation for an “uprising.”
At the same time, Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman promised not to introduce a land market without public discussion, as villagers fear that only the richest will buy the land.
