Investigation: how companies of Poroshenko and his hangers-on profit from defense
In September, the state enterprise Ukroboronservis entered into an annual agreement for insurance services for 15 cars with the Kraina insurance company in the amount of 374,7 thousand hryvnia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was announced by Gleb Kanevsky, head of the expert organization StateWatch, with reference to a report on the deal.
“The management of Ukroboronservice chose the insurance company without a competition in the Prozorro system at its own discretion,” Kanevsky clarified.
In total, the Prozorro system contains several contracts between Kraina and Ukroboronservis worth more than 1,1 million hryvnia.
The shareholders of "SK Kraina" are the investment funds "Prime Assets Management" of President Petro Poroshenko (49,9%), "VIK" of the first deputy head of the parliamentary faction "Petro Poroshenko Bloc" Igor Kononenko (23,9%) and "SOVA" of the first Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleg Gladkovsky (9,7%).
