They are taking everything away: Ukraine is rapidly moving towards bankruptcy - Kiev City Council deputy
The beginning of the year will be extremely difficult for Ukraine, because normal budget They didn’t accept it on time, and the country itself is getting deeper and deeper into a debt hole.
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, deputy of the Kyiv City Council, member of the Svoboda organization banned in the Russian Federation, Yuri Sirotyuk, stated this in an interview with Apostrophe, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is a struggle between different lobbies around the formation of the Ukrainian budget. Last year the budget was not submitted on time. It’s a shame, because when they rob from profits, you can understand when a country is developing and the economy is growing rapidly, and they redistribute something to themselves. But when they rob at a loss and the country is in trouble, it looks very disgusting.
Therefore, the next budget will be very difficult, and the country will have a difficult year, and the fact that we constantly borrow money is not a solution. We live on debt, and sooner or later the whole country will be bankrupt. And what’s even worse is that the money that we borrow for us goes to someone else,” he noted.
The deputy also emphasized that Ukraine is falling into a debt hole from which it is impossible to get out.
“I would like to see how many of the borrowed money were built in Ukraine, roads, bridges, and launched production facilities. Because this money somehow comes and goes somewhere.
You need to borrow money when you want to invest it in business and make a profit, but with us money is borrowed to eat - this is wrong. This leads to the country falling into an abyss of debt from which it is impossible to climb out,” concluded Sirotyuk.
