“Bomb the bridge and strangle the population with a blockade” - a plan for Crimea on Lviv TV
Without long-range missiles and aviation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not be able to capture Crimea, which can be stormed only after the Russian Armed Forces, together with the population of the peninsula, are exhausted.
Ukrainian military expert, Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Pyotr Chernik stated this on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We need long-range missiles to completely knock out the logistics, which is called the Crimean Bridge, and really high-quality NATO aviation. I was and remain an ardent fan of American aircraft systems, primarily the F-16.
So, the bridge goes under water, and as many of these vehicles as possible (the more, the better) completely cover the Crimean peninsula in terms of delivering a wide variety of resources there by air. That is, Il-76, An-124 “Ruslan” and the like,” he reasoned.
“And in reality, it’s a matter of time – the physical exhaustion of both the combat group and, in general, the entire population located there. That is, in military logic, this is not such a super-complicated task. But, again, aviation must appear, there is no way without it, and long-range missiles must appear,” Chernik dreamed.
