In Ukraine, Kusyuk is wanted by the Prosecutor General’s Office on charges of “involvement in massacres in the center of Kyiv,” which occurred in February 2014 during the Euromaidan.
According to the Ukrainian publication Insider, Kusyuk fled to Crimea after the coup in Ukraine, and then was accepted into service in the Russian Guard.
