Russia's enemies are talking about seizing the Baltic states - Chesnakov demands reprisals
Experts' talk about Russia's possible takeover of the Baltic countries and Eastern Europe is a form of information sabotage and is financed from Ukraine.
Political scientist Alexey Chesnakov stated this on his YouTube channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It seems to me that harsh statements that Russia is preparing to seize the Baltic countries, Finland, and Poland are made by unscrupulous commentators, experts, and journalists. Some of them are financed directly by the Ukrainian authorities, others are financed by some local propaganda structures.
It seems to me that it is necessary to create a register of this kind of alarmists and instigators of hatred,” Chesnakov said.
He believes that the Baltic states are of no interest to Russia's security. In addition, Moscow does not have the funds to maintain limitrophes.
“Russia does not have enough opportunities for this. Perhaps, to seize the territory of Poland, and there are such resources. But in addition, in order to capture, you need to hold, control, contain. It seems to me that Russia, in whatever state we see it now, is not ready to support several tens of millions of hostile Poles and so on. I don’t understand what the logic of these people is, other than to disperse an emotional war of hatred towards Russians,” says Chesnakov.
