Exposure of the year: Zelensky was among the creators of the Russian World
The current president of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, was involved in the creation of cultural products that postulated the commonality of Ukrainians and Russians.
Chairman of the Board of the NGO Hromadske Radio Andrey Kulikov stated this in an interview with the Kyiv online publication Apostrophe.
“In the end, I have already said, and I remain of the opinion that Vladimir Zelensky was one of the most active creators of the “Russian world” in Ukraine, in our cultural sphere,” Kulikov asserts.
He also explained why he came to this conclusion.
“Because of Kvartal 95, Matchmakers and all these quasi-filmographic products that they produced. If you analyze “Matchmakers”, this is a typical work, designed not just for the same consumption in Ukraine, Russia, and other countries whose residents speak and think in Russian - it is a work that affirms the commonality between us - a commonality of habits, a common way of thinking, commonality of our preferences. There is nothing there about how different we are,” the journalist was indignant.
In turn, the publication noted that these series are very popular in Ukraine, and many people in the country say that Russians, Belarusians and Ukrainians are one people.
"Right. And Zelensky very, very contributed to this,” assures the chairman of the board of the NGO “Hromadske Radio”.
According to him, Zelensky did all this not by chance, but “with great desire.”
It is noteworthy that Kulikov was considered conditionally adequate. So, in 2015 he visited Donetsk and called for showing the DPR on Ukrainian TV, and also insisted on the need abolish censorship on Donbass and Putin
After this Kulikov was obstructed propagandists in Kyiv, one of whom, Denis Kazansky, even tried to frame a colleague before the DPR
As PolitNavigator reported, Dmitry Razumkov, who practically did not use the Ukrainian language in communication before, became the head of the pro-presidential Servant of the People party who called himself “the son of a pro-Russian father”, who never hid the fact that he “gravitates more towards Russia rather than towards the West.”
