Kyiv, August 11 (Navigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – By Sunday evening there were practically no tents left on the Maidan - the authorities managed to dismantle the town of revolution veterans on the eve of the military parade announced by Petro Poroshenko on the occasion of Independence Day.

The stage, half dismantled during the day, still stands, and the activists did not allow the utility workers to completely dismantle it. From the stage they accused the refugees who took part yesterday at the call of Mayor Klitschko in the cleanup of the Maidan, of corruption.
On Khreshchatyk, the Maidan activists hung up a notice and an appeal to the people of Kiev, which, in particular, says: “Have a nice ride through the blood of the Heavenly Hundred... Let these guys come to you in your dreams.”
Judging by the picture that has opened, the renovation of the country's main square will cost a considerable amount. There are practically no entire steps left leading to the Stele of Independence. In some places there are dead rats covered in flies.
During the day, the Cossack hundred removed their property. “The tents remain for now, but we’ll see what happens next,” centurion Nikolai Bondar told Navigator. “We take our belongings to Trukhanov Island, where we also have a camp.”
At the same time, barricades remain on Institutskaya Street, part of which, according to Vitali Klitschko, is planned to be made a place of remembrance for the fallen Maidan protesters and will remain closed to traffic.
