“Let me state this: this trip was a mistake, I admit it, given the consequences,” Agramunt said at the opening of the PACE spring session.
According to him, the mistake was that he underestimated the reaction to this visit in the ranks of the assembly. Agramunt recalled that many in PACE expressed concern about this trip.
“I must say that I recognize these statements as justified, since this visit, the form in which it took place, and the way it was portrayed by the media, raised difficult questions for our organization,” Deutsche Welle quotes the head of PACE.
Recall as PolitNavigator previously reported, The Ukrainian delegation to PACE, in an ultimatum tone, demanded the resignation of Pgrammount for his trip to Syria together with a representative of the Russian Federation.
