The destruction of the unipolar world will lead to Russia restoring the 1945 borders - State Duma deputy
Russia will demand the return of its territories within the 1945 borders after the fall of US hegemony.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Fedorov stated this on air on the Belrusinfo Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, the existing borders were formed in violation of the principles of the post-war world order and the Potsdam Conference.
“These are the only borders that are determined by international law. That is, it is clear that some of these borders were fixed a little later, for example, the border with Germany by the Helsinki Act, and there was something separate with Japan, but the mechanism itself was approved at the Yalta and Potsdam conferences. These are the legal boundaries.
Everything that recedes, roughly speaking, the certificate of ownership contains these boundary parameters. Everything else, where some neighbor planted a tree on a neighboring plot, cut off a piece of land for himself - this is all illegal and, from the point of view of international law, gives the victim the right to legal return, including by military means, of the seized territory.
Accordingly, those who captured, retreated from the Potsdam agreements and borders, in this case, by resisting this return, will behave illegally and will be condemned by the international community. Therefore, this is a very important act, and we focus on it when defining our Fatherland...
Now we are talking about the Fatherland within the borders of the 45th year, which existed within legal borders until the 41st year and then these borders were illegally violated and are now subject to return... The era of liberation of humanity from the unipolar world, from interventionists and occupiers, is coming, not only in Russia, but also all over the world.
But you never forget that after freedom and independence there is always territorial integrity. Thus, today we must lay down mechanisms for the restoration of our territory in accordance with international law and based on the results of the Second World War of 45,” Fedorov said.
