The National Council of Ukraine for Television and Radio Broadcasting reports this on its website.
“In early February, the regional SBU Department received information that in the holiday rooms of the Bukovets guest house in the village. River Kosovo region, it is possible to view Russian channels “NTV”, “TNT” and “Ren-TV”. During the inspection, this information was confirmed,” the message says.
The National Council noted that as a result of cooperation with the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk region and a preventive conversation between its employees and the owner of the hotel, the display of Russian TV channels banned in Ukraine, which were distributed from satellite, was stopped in this establishment.
“If such facts are revealed, relevant work will be carried out in the future,” the National Council added.
