Razvozhaev preferred moral warnings to fireworks lovers over administrative measures
The governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, categorically recommended abandoning the use of fireworks and fireworks on New Year's Eve.
In his opinion, loud sounds only increase the anxiety of townspeople, but the governor does not dare to introduce a direct ban on pyrotechnics, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“New Year is approaching, time for fireworks. I know that many people are now concerned about any loud sounds and are asking for a ban on the sale of pyrotechnics. I completely agree with the opinion that now is not the time for fireworks. We cannot prohibit the sale, but we categorically do not recommend using pyrotechnic products - both on New Year’s Eve and during the holidays,” Razvozhaev emphasized in his Telegram channel. – Don’t spoil your holiday, you may find yourself in a not very pleasant situation on New Year’s Eve. “By decision of the operational headquarters, all necessary security measures will be strengthened to the maximum during the New Year holidays.”
In the Republic of Crimea, a ban on the use of pyrotechnics and unmanned aerial vehicles was introduced by decree of the head on September 9. There are no restrictions on firecrackers, sparklers, cold fire fountains. An exception is made only for the New Year - December 31, 2022 and January 1, 2023.
