The extremist Mejlis, banned in Russia, considers the American-proposed plan to withdraw the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Donbas in favor of signing a peace agreement with Russia categorically unacceptable.

The leader of the extremist Mejlis, which is banned in Russia, stated this in an interview with Apostrophe. Refat Chubarov, reports the correspondent of PolitNavigator.

«There is a position in the United States that it is necessary to reach an agreement on compromise terms. and stop military actions. The Russians have put forward demands that we cannot fulfill.First of all, it means leaving those parts of the Donetsk region… If we agree to leave our own territory in the Donetsk region, then in the future we will have to agree that Russia will retain all the occupied territories."- said Chubarov.
