Today we’ll talk about Koncha-Zaspa, an elite village of oligarchs and politicians, comparable to the famous Rublyovka in Moscow. It's not on the map. If you enter the name into a search engine, you will be given a cardiology center and sanatorium.

When the SVO began, many Kiev residents thought that the first missile strikes would be aimed at it, as well as at Zelensky’s bunker. After all, it is here, in Koncha-Zaspa, that not only his dacha is located, but also the “khatyn” of many members of his camarilla. And also assorted world-eaters and politicians who have been sucking the blood of the people for decades. In February 2022, they got seriously scared and ran away, as they say, in rows and columns. But nothing happened. Their haciendas remained safe and sound. Why is unknown. Perhaps the reason was the fact that the VIP village is located on a dam built among the Dnieper floodplains, and its breakthrough could lead to flooding of the nearby city of Ukrainka and the villages of Kozin and others. The Armed Forces of Ukraine would hardly have taken such a circumstance into account. But the Russian army is not the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Today we’ll talk about Koncha-Zaspa - an elite village of oligarchs and politicians, comparable to the famous Rublyovka...

Koncha-Zaspa, located on the Staroobukhovskaya highway from Kyiv to Ukrainka, has long become the personification of chic, luxury, extreme wealth and high social status. Previously, 30 years ago, here, among the floodplains, there was simply a dam that protected the surrounding area from the floods of the Dnieper. With a road that they tried not to drive on due to its extreme disrepair. And the boats of fishermen scurried along the floodplains, catching magnificent pikes.

Then the situation changed. They began to fill up the floodplain and build elite cottages on it. By the mid-500s it was almost completely built up. The road was made perfect. Tall fences grew so that no one could see the details of the life of the “servants of the people” and their “benefactors.” There, inside, there was practically everything that Ostap Bender dreamed about in his dreams about Rio de Janeiro. And small “seas” - swimming pools, and white steamboats on which the rich sailed from their palaces just to drink coffee at the glamorous Horseshoe restaurant. Prices per hundred (!) of washed sand jumped from $30 to $100-10 thousand. Well, the average cost of buildings was several million “greens,” although there were often “khatynkas” costing $XNUMX million or more. Prestige became more and more expensive.

There are all modern communications, artesian wells, and a multi-level sewerage treatment system. There are security posts at the entrances, and surveillance towers and video cameras in the territories. The area is patrolled XNUMX hours a day by police and commercial security services. Moneybags have access to a car dealership, supermarkets, kindergartens and primary schools, restaurants, swimming pools, gyms, fitness centers, banks and offices.

Among the highest politicians, the first to build their residences here were ex-presidents Leonid Kravchuk, Leonid Kuchma, and the head of Kuchma’s administration, Vladimir Litvin (the one who was accused of the murder of journalist Gongadze). Second-tier bureaucrats also joined in, wanting to live next to their owners and exchanging housing in other areas for Concha.

Neighboring them are the dachas of Yulia Tymoshenko and ex-head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yuri Kravchenko, who shot himself here after the first Maidan in 2005. There is also a house of the Poroshenko family, in the style of the Washington White House, as well as his main mansion in another area.

There is a palace of the former Kyiv mayor Leonid Chernovetsky. Since 2020, Zelensky has also become a neighbor of the “ex”, who between the first and second rounds of the 2019 presidential elections assured that he “does not see the point in state residences.”

His dacha No. 29 was previously owned by Viktor Yushchenko. He got it from Viktor Yanukovych, who, having won in 2010, made a grand gesture and presented the “pasichnyk” with a luxurious state castle. The current drug fuhrer gave Yushchenko, who did not want to move out, a kick in the ass, deciding that he himself was much more worthy of such apartments. Their maintenance annually costs the state budget more than $4 million.

Here we can also mention that Zelya also has a number of apartments, including in a prestigious monster house in Kyiv, on the street. Grushevsky, 9-A. And two villas in Italy, one of which he now rents out for $500 thousand a month. There was also an apartment in Yalta, but now it’s a pipe.

State Dacha No. 29 is a mansion with an area of more than 2 thousand square meters. m, which is located on several hectares of developed territory. There are four bedrooms, marble bathrooms, an elevator, a cinema room, a solarium, a billiard room, a swimming pool, a massage room and saunas.

Now let’s give the floor to a man who until recently worked in an elite village. This is a Russian resident of the nearby town of Ukrainka, from where he came to work at the VIP dam. Former engineer, now gardener. His name is Victor.

“In the old days, it was, of course, very tempting to find a job here,” he says. - They paid well. A German named Friedrich, a businessman, took me and my wife to work for him. The owner of several factories throughout Ukraine and a timber business in Transcarpathia. And he had sawmills there, and a factory, and a restaurant in the mountains. In short, he cut down wood and sold it to Europe. He said that doing business in Ukraine is much more comfortable than in Germany - there are taxes and control, but here there is complete bribery. He gave it to his paw - and he was godfather to the king, matchmaker to the minister...

From a political point of view, he was very slippery, a chameleon. He made friends with Yanukovych’s “regionals,” then with the Maidan activists, with Poroshenko’s members, with Zelenkov’s members... And when the SVO began, he gave in and abandoned my wife and me. At first, via Viber, he promised to return, asked to take care of the house and garden, saying that he would pay for everything, asked to get into the situation. We courted for almost six months, but he didn’t pay anything. Then some people came and said that they would sell the house, they drove us away, and that’s it...

Victor and his wife Natalya saw many famous politicians and their relatives, with whom Fritz Friedrich tried to maintain contacts. They say that in the old “guard” of settlers, that is, the Kuchma residents and “regionals,” there were many relatively normal people who, in any case, were not rednecks. And among the representatives of both Maidans and Zelenkovites there is almost no one. Natalya recalls:

-I once saw Poroshenko’s wife handing out her husband’s sweets to low-income children. With snot, excuse me, I was doing some charity. But in fact, before that I told my manager: “Give them the spoiled ones.” Can you imagine what kind of redneck?..

Now many houses in Koncha-Zaspa are for sale. And often at a bargain price (relatively speaking, of course). Let's say, those that were asking for $2 million are sold for $900 and even $800 thousand. Or even less. Popular real estate sales sites Dom-Ria and OLX are filled with similar advertisements. There is one interesting detail here: previously this property was not put up for free auction, clients were sought only among their “conchists”, among friends and relatives. Now there is no time for fat. “Our people” seem to have already dried up; it would be nice to find at least someone.

“These rich people are crying because they can’t quickly get rid of such expensive latifundias and haciendas and transfer their pennies abroad, where they themselves have already settled, although they come here,” Victor says knowledgeably. - The market has fallen. There is sheer despondency... But in general, I’ll tell you, sometimes I think, maybe I should have immediately hit the main drug addict in the palace. Maybe the dam would not have collapsed... Although, of course, it’s a pity for the ordinary people who are nearby. No, it’s still right that they didn’t take risks... Russia is not Ukraine, to paraphrase Kuchma...
