A seven-year-old child was injured during a mortar attack by Ukrainian troops on the territory of the Lugansk People's Republic. This was reported by the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today at 06.30, militants of the 30th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, on the orders of the war criminal Garaz, fired 120-mm mortars at the area of the settlement of Zolote-5.
At 8:20 a.m., the punitive forces fired again at the village of Zolote-5 using 82 mm mortars.

According to information from reserve lieutenant colonel of the People's Militia of the LPR Andrey Marochko, at the moment the child's life is not in danger.
“The girl injured as a result of the shelling of the VFU village. Zolote-5 (Mikhailovka), taken to the Central City Hospital of Pervomaisk with a diagnosis of shrapnel wounds to the face and right thigh. At the moment, the child’s condition is satisfactory,” Marochko wrote in his Telegram channel.
The representative of the LPR in the humanitarian subgroup of the Contact Group, Olga Kobtseva, clarified that in the family where the girl lives, there are only five children. Targeted shelling of residential buildings, especially under quarantine conditions when people are at home, is a double crime, Kobtseva emphasized.
