Registered Belarusian Russophobe Semchenko continues to sow discord
Journalist of the Belarusian TV channel ONT Dmitry Semchenko continues to churn out reports designed to arouse negative feelings among citizens towards Russia and Russians.
This time, the court journalist is escalating the situation around the Belarusians, who cannot get out of India due to the border closure situation.
“Closed borders made it possible to find out the value of friendship. They are helping Belarusians return to their homeland, but the Russians have even closed transit... They are killing our citizens at airports, not allowing them to leave or fly away. Apparently panic sentiments turned out to be stronger than fraternal feelings and allied obligations.
The coronavirus turned out to be a litmus test that allows us to determine what not only friends and acquaintances are like, but also close relatives, and even entire countries,” Semchenko proclaimed on Saturday.
However, the Russian Ambassador to Minsk, Dmitry Mezentsev, said that there should be no problems for citizens of Belarus who have tickets to fly on board Russian air carriers. The Russian government issued a corresponding order.
It is obvious that the situation is deliberately aggravated by the Belarusian side, which is inciting pocket media.
Dmitry Semchenko is known for his anti-Russian antics. He had previously made offensive attacks on Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on air and questioned the benefits of allied relations with Russia.
