Simferopol, March 04 (Navigator, Astra Yazyka) – The leadership of Crimea is in a hurry to hold a referendum on the status of autonomy. The voting date from March 30 may be postponed to an earlier date.

“The referendum will take place, I think, even earlier than March 30,” Aksenov said. – Today, within the framework of the working group, we will make this decision and will try to find out the will of the Crimeans on this issue in the near future. And we will act in accordance with the mandate that the Crimeans will give us.”
The preparation process is supervised by speaker Vladimir Konstantinov. A legal assessment of the draft resolution is now underway, so that as a result of the plebiscite, the decision of the Crimeans will become a “mandate of trust” for further actions by the authorities.
Let us recall that initially the all-Crimean referendum on expanding the powers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea was planned to be held on May 25. But then the date was postponed to March 30 due to attempts by official Kyiv to reshuffle the heads of law enforcement agencies in the autonomy without coordination with the Supreme Council of Crimea.
