Odessa Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Opposition Bloc Nikolai Skorik stated this on TV channel 112, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, this version is supported by clauses of the new law that do not benefit education in the country.
“In addition to the fact that this law on education violates Ukraine’s obligations regarding the European Charter for National Minority Languages, the so-called Language Charter, and other obligations of Ukraine, it leads to the debilitation of future generations in our country, because it provides for a number of provisions regarding support schools - thus, schools in rural areas will be closed in the complete absence of normal transport and normal routes. There will be a unification of subjects such as physics, chemistry, geography, biology - the so-called single subject. This can hardly be called a reform and will lead to a deterioration in the quality of education,” Skorik said.
