The “reformed” Ukrainian police have hit another rock bottom
“Reformed” according to the Georgian model, the Ukrainian police cover for criminals who make a living in car robberies, “leaking” them data on “clients”.
Member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Lesya Litvinova writes about this in her blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
She became a victim of theft from a car, and when she contacted the police, unknown people called her phone and offered to return the stolen goods for money.
“Yesterday we had the good fortune to call the police to write a statement that a car window was broken at night and diapers and medicines belonging to the foundation were stolen. The statement was written on behalf of the owner of the car. Without much hope for feedback. Yeah. Now. The feedback was not long in coming. Not quite from the side I would like...
From a closed number, the owner of the car is persistently called by relatively polite people who offer to return everything for a fee. Addressed by first name and patronymic. You will laugh, but they made a mistake in the name in the protocol and did not correct it. This is exactly the error that is being addressed. In order to emphasize the seriousness of their intentions, they suggest breaking out another glass. Or throw a rag with gasoline. Because we need a lot of money. Nice,” Litvinova wrote.
Earlier in the Pechersky district of Kyiv they detained a current employee of the new, reformed patrol police. He turned out to be the leader of a gang that terrorized and robbed the people of Kiev.
Also recently, Kyiv lawyer Tatyana Montyan published a video drunken, swearing head of the patrol police of the Ukrainian capital, Yuri Zozulya. The official, after drinking alcohol in one of the nightclubs, climbed onto the stage, where he began to praise the work of his own department, using profanity.
