Kyiv, December 22 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litvochenko) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that the Verkhovna Rada has been proposed to adopt a number of laws that are aimed at increasing the tax burden on oligarchs.

He stated this while opening a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the consideration of the draft state budget for 2015.
According to him, it is planned to increase rent rates – ore, oil, gas and condensate. In addition, it is proposed to denounce the treaty with Cyprus on the avoidance of double taxation, thus forcing the oligarchs to pay taxes to the Ukrainian budget.
“Whoever earns more should pay more. Those who earn less receive targeted assistance,” Yatsenyuk said.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier an action took place in Kyiv, during which activists suggested that people’s deputies “tighten their belts” on the oligarchs by adopting relevant bills.
