Regional hetmans are rubbing their hands in anticipation of local elections
The elites in the regions of Ukraine have already become very strong, and local elections will strengthen them even more and turn them into “feudal lords.”
Political strategist Alexander Teplyuk stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Who will people vote for? In a local election campaign, people vote for a person they know. The Parachutist will be difficult to launch.
And “Servant of the People” will simply pump itself up with some kind of gags in order to increase recognition and to sell its brand. Although they are not very keen to buy it - given the fall that is now happening, people are already afraid.
Local elites have already become very strong today. There will be an election campaign - not decentralization, but complete federalization of our country. We will have districts where there will be their own feudal lords. And with these elections they will strengthen themselves. They will confirm their ownership within the framework of these elections,” the political strategist concluded.
