Voters drive majoritarian regionalists to the front
Zhitomir, August 01 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – In the Zhitomir region, residents of the villages of Chopovichi and Barvinki held a protest against the arrival of Verkhovna Rada deputy, “regional” Vitaly Zhuravsky.

Several dozen residents gathered to meet the deputy with posters: “Regions - get out of Polesie!”, “Zhuravsky, go to the front”, “Don’t believe the liars!”.
As the Reporter publication reports, people believe that the “regionals” are just going for PR and bringing handouts.
“People understand that now accepting any handouts from people like Zhuravsky means not respecting oneself, disgracing the memory of those who died on the Maidan and gave their lives in the East,” said activist Stanislav Gumenyuk.
Zhuravsky never came to the village: he apologized, said that he had an urgent session, and promised to come to his fellow countrymen next time.
Let us remember that Zhuravsky previously stated that now is “not the time” for parliamentary elections.
