Kyiv, February 21 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The Verkhovna Rada adopted a resolution on the dismissal of the acting. Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vitaly Zakharchenko.
“The resolution comes into force from the moment the new Constitution, which we adopted today, comes into force,” said Speaker Vladimir Rybak, explaining that first the constitutional changes must be signed by President Viktor Yanukovych.

It is noteworthy that, together with the opposition, 69 deputies from the Party of Regions and 32 from the Communist Party voted for Zakharchenko’s resignation.
The audience greeted the decision to fire Zakharchenko with applause.
