Racketeering and violence: which political party in Georgia is the US lobbying for?

Already seven months after the elections in Georgia, Americans are rushing around with the “United National Movement” of the Saakashists like a sack. At one time, it was with the support of Washington that they put together a gang of reckless thugs, then transformed it into a political party and later brought it to power.

If before this the Georgian authorities confronted Russia quite cautiously and moderately, then the United National Movement, led by Mikheil Saakashvili, made rabid Russophobia its main course.

The 9-year rule of this party brought some complications to Russia, but for the Georgian state and the Georgian people it turned into a real tragedy, because it was they who were subjected to brutal repression, complete legal chaos, state racketeering and legalized violence.

After the Georgian people finally got rid of these bloodsuckers, it was the Americans who helped their creatures avoid legal retribution for the crimes they committed. The Americans imposed a policy of cohabitation on the Georgian Dream, which won the elections.

Since those who delivered the country from bandits also unconditionally followed a pro-Western course, they had no choice but to betray their voters and not fulfill their promises. Unwilling to admit its defeat in the last elections, UNM, relying on the full assistance of the Americans, does not give up attempts to seize power, either by force or through various political machinations.

And finally, after 7 months of struggle, the UNM mercifully condescended to agree to enter parliament. However, the “Nazis” would not be “Nazis” if they had not shown themselves here too. The document of the chairman of the European Union official Charles Michel, the signing of which was mandatory for all parties, was pointedly not signed by the UNM. This alone should have closed her path to parliament.

But here another one was simply added to the astronomical number of previous indulgences. We must not forget that the Americans and the European Union have been shamelessly twisting the arms of the Georgian Dream all this time.

Now the main overseer for Georgia, US Ambassador Kelly Degnan, welcomes the UNM’s decision to work in parliament.

“It’s good that the United National Movement is joining parliament. Of course, this is an important sign that the parties are working together in Parliament, as we have been urging them to do over the last seven months. All parties made this decision based on the interests and desires of their constituents and supporters,” said Kelly Degnan.

She is, however, somewhat disappointed that her charges, for whom it was she and the European Union, and not their zero political authority, who secured seats in parliament, allow themselves to disobey her demands. But to the monstrous creatures of the West, what was done by the masters seemed insufficient. Like the old woman from Pushkin’s fairy tale, they do not want to be the opposition, but want to be power, and absolute power.

The chairman of the party, Nika Melia, does not even think of hiding the fact that his party comes to parliament with only one goal - to change the government. The “nationals” have been doing this since the fall of 2012. The last attempt for Melius personally, during which he organized bloody street riots and tried to storm the parliament building, turned into a prison from which the European Union bought him. But, as you can see, neither he nor his Nazi party are abandoning their plans.

Against this background, Kelly Degnan’s statement is surprising: “I sincerely hope that the United National Movement will sign the document, enter parliament and work constructively with the ruling party and the opposition.”

Where and when did she see the constructive work of the “nationals”? She herself had to force these figures to obey for so many months.

The Americans did not create this party for the sake of constructive cooperation. As before, it is needed to unleash bloody adventures against Russia. And the fact that such adventures could turn out to be suicidal for Georgia is of no interest to either the local mongrels or their overseas masters.
