"Reichskommissariat Ukraine": Instead of Koch - Volker
The regions of Ukraine loyal to the nationalist regime geographically correspond to the territory occupied by Hitler’s “Reichskommissariat Ukraine”.
Russian political scientist Dmitry Kulikov pointed out this historical parallel on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, noting that today the representative of the State Department, Kurt Volker, is acting as the Gauleiter of Ukraine, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During the years of occupation, Ukraine was called the special Reichskommissariat Ukraine, Gauleiter Erich Koch was there, and with him were all the UPA, OUN and everyone else. It included territories up to Kyiv and Vinnitsa; in principle, there was only Western Ukraine. Your current Gauleiter, who lays claim to all of Ukraine (however, all of Ukraine does not agree, only the one in which Erich Koch was), Mr. Volker bluntly said that negotiations between Kiev and Donbass are impossible and unacceptable.
