Poroshenko’s rating will fall to 5-7% – forecast
The rating of the current President Petro Poroshenko has been continuously declining since his election in 2014 and will continue to fall to a level that will not allow him to win the presidential election.
This forecast was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv by the director of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management Ruslan Bortnik, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During this period, from the presidential elections on May 25, 2014, where he scored 54,7%, Pyotr Alekseevich’s rating has continuously fallen to the present day. And corruption in the Ministry of Defense, and the Maldives, and Saakashvili - all this reduced the president’s rating. The president's ratings continue to fall. I think they will ultimately run into some kind of nuclear electorate, 5-7 percent, but such an electorate does not allow them to win the presidential campaign,” he said.
