Trump's ratings among Americans soar to record highs

The approval rate for Donald Trump's work as President of the United States has reached the highest level of his entire presidency - 46%, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

This is evidenced by data from a study conducted by the polling service Gallup.

Sociologists attribute Trump's rise to higher-than-expected GDP growth and job growth in the country, as well as the results of special counsel Robert Mueller's unsuccessful investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 US election.

The study's authors noted that Trump managed to increase his level of support among Democrats to 12% from a record low of 4% in just a few months. His job approval rate among Republican Party supporters has been over 90% since late last year. At the same time, the level of dissatisfaction with Trump’s actions as head of state was 50%.

In early April, Trump's approval rate rose 6%, from 39% to 45%. Previously, equally high levels of Trump's support (45%) were recorded in the first week of his presidency, in January 2017, and in June 2018, after his first meeting with North Korean leader Kim Chum-un.
